The Aresenal of Corruption
This is a small elite until of the Detroit Police that investigates the “weird” cases. Unlike it’s Chicago counterpart though, it’s more interested in covering up, and assessing where the bill for the cover up goes. With the department basically having a “going rate” for everything, when an unclaimed case shows up, they investigate until they figure out which organization is responsible and then send a bill for the required bribe – the size depending on factors such as 1. victim type 2. how public the crime 3. severity of crime, etc.
The unit size is usually four officers, but recently, the unit was given it’s own lieutenant slot, and one of the officers, Saul Jackson, was bumped up. Now there’s a new officer on the unit, and his opinion of this level of corruption is unknown.
